UTAR’s Agriculture Technology (Agritech) Seminar Series is a prestigious annual event, established in 2011 and organised by the staff and students of the Faculty of Science and Agricultural Science program. Its objective is to bridge the knowledge and research gap between academia, industry, and farmers by fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration. This seminar series creates a vital platform where researchers present the latest scientific findings while industry professionals share practical challenges and insights from the field.

Covering a wide range of topics including oil palm advancements, aquaculture innovations, native fruit conservation, organic farming, livestock productivity, pest management, post-harvest technologies, smart plantation management, bamboo resources, and stingless bee-keeping, the Agritech Seminar Series equips participants and students with relevant knowledge to drive innovation and sustainability in Malaysia’s agricultural sector.
